The Chi-Care 5K is back for its 3rd year! This family-friendly run/walk will take place on Sunday, September 27th at Montrose Harbor.

In addition to the 5K run/walk, this event will feature a buffet provided by many of Chi-Care‘s restaurant partners, a kids dash, a DJ stage, and much more!

Last year’s event had more than 600 participants, and raised over $50,000 to feed those in need. Join us in topping those numbers this year – all are welcome!

Mr. Broast is an OG Chi-Care partner, with a relationship going all the way back to our first year of operation. They began by donating meals, which allowed Chi-Care to concentrate on funding its other operations. When funding was stable, Mr. Broast was made a full-fledged partner, and was able to provide as many as 650 meals a week for Chi-Care‘s Downtown Route and Northwest Neighborhoods Route.

To date, Mr. Broast has provided 30,505 low-cost, warm meals to Chi-Care! These meals have spanned 10 different programs across all 7 years of our operations.

Needless to say, Chi-Care would not be where it is today without our incredible partnership with Mr. Broast. Thank you for all that you continue to do to support us!

Chi-Care is now partnering with Double the Donation to help donors find employers that will match their gifts!

Many people don’t realize that thousands of companies, large and small, will match donations made by their employees as an employee benefit. It’s extra money set aside specifically to be allocated to causes of your choosing. Even if you are retired, or if your spouse/partner is currently working, your gift could be eligible for a match!
