Some Of Our Projects

Chi-Care not only works to feed the homeless, but through our volunteer efforts and partners, we do everything we can to serve those in need.

Forest Park - Thursday

Every Thursday, The CTA hosts a wellness fair at the Forest Park Blue Line Station for any unhoused individuals. This wellness fair includes the handout of donations, healthcare, social assistance, and of course food provided by Chi-Care. We pack and distribute a few hundred meals to anyone in need. Volunteers can meet directly at the Forest Park Blue Line Station, or at the Bensenville warehouse where they can ride in the Chi-Care van. The event begins at 7:30pm and ends by 10pm at the latest. *Volunteers 13 or younger are NOT allowed for this shift.

Route C - Saturday

This route leaves from Bensenville or Bolingbrook (unless otherwise noted). We visit our unhoused brothers and sisters in Little Village, Pilsen, Back of The Yards, and surrounding areas.

Route A - Sunday

The Chi-Care van leaves from either our Bensenville warehouse or from Morton Grove (unless otherwise noted) at 10:30am. This route serves our unhoused brothers and sisters in Humboldt Park, Logan Square, Garfield Park, Albany Park, and nearby areas.

Route B - Sunday

The Chi-Care van leaves our Bensenville warehouse (unless otherwise noted) at 10:30am. This route serves our unhoused brothers and sisters in the Loop, on Michigan Ave., Lower Wacker, and surrounding areas.

Fuel Movement

Located in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, The Fuel Movement Community Center helps empower families in need through initiatives focused on building and supporting the community.
